Distribution Advocates Film Ade Fund Selects ‘You, Me & Her’ as a Grantee

The inaugural round of Film-ADE Fund grants, launched by Distribution Advocates this past August, has recognized You, Me & Her among its five recipients. Film-ADE was created to support innovative distribution and marketing experiments that aim to build audiences and explore new models beyond traditional studio-streamer and legacy approaches.

Chosen by a jury of distribution experts, including Abby Sun, Avril Speaks, Carlos Gutiérrez, and Karin Chien, recipients were evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, audience-building strategies, and their potential to provide valuable insights for the field.

Two Hands Productions, led by filmmakers Dan Levy Dagerman and Selina Ringel, will use the funding to engage micro-influencers in the release of their award-winning narrative feature, You, Me & Her. This effort will explore how micro-influencers can impact indie film marketing and audience development.

Other grantees include projects from Cargo Film & Releasing, Film First, Level Ground Productions, and Oscilloscope Laboratories, all experimenting with groundbreaking strategies in documentary and independent film distribution.
